HISTORY:

Delilah was raised on the island town on Dewford, with her huge family stuffed into a small house. As she grew up, she was annoyed by her older sisters and completely adored by her little brother. Her parents were always busy at work, both running a small cafe together near the shore. It was a well known, well loved hometown cuisine. Delilah and her siblings spent most of their time running around the cafe. Outside of the cafe and her family, she rarely spent time with anyone else. She would always be looking out for her brother, whom she loved dearly, but, seeing as he was a very sickly child, he couldn't stay alone for very long.

As her brother grew older, he gained more independence, which allowed Delilah a lot more free time. She started to take her brother on walks along the beach. "Getting exercise would help him get stronger, and less sick, right." She always thought to herself. He soon got older that he didn't want to spend so much time with his sister, so he began to exercise alone. But, little did he know, Delilah would follow behind, thinking that she could keep him safe. She was worried that he would hurt himself or that he would get sick again, and be stuck in bed for however long.

During one of her little walk, she accidentally bumped into this young man. They soon started to hang around a lot with each other. He was actually an athlete. He was the one that told her that she didn't have to follow her parents steps and be cooks. She confided in him that she wasted to help people stay healthy. "Exercise is a medicine," She always told him. She soon thought, that if she stayed here, in Dewford, that she wouldn't have the life that she wanted. To help people. After telling her parents that she wan't going to be a cook, it caused a lot of tension between Delilah and her parents. Though one day, while she was in her room studying, her parents were surprised how much time she started to spent reading and studying, causing them to start trusting and believing in her.

Delilah started to spend more time with her brother once again, helping him exercise, strengthening his body. Soon her brother was starting to act like a normal child his age. She noticed that with her brother healthier and more active, and with not much else to do, she decided that maybe she should leave. So after a few weeks of planning, it was time to find somewhere just her own.
